Keeping rides covered and drivers prepared is critical to running an efficient transportation operation. That’s why EverTransit has introduced new options for driver ride confirmations, giving fleet owners more control over how upcoming rides are managed.
The enhancement works with EverTransit’s 24-hour, 8-hour, 2-hour, and 30-minute ride notifications and allows each fleet to choose the confirmation process that best fits its operation.
Fleets can now enable “Allow the driver to confirm the ride.”
When enabled, drivers receive a Confirm button directly in their ride notification email, giving them an additional opportunity to confirm they are still available and prepared to complete the ride.
If a driver does not click Confirm, they will remain assigned to the ride. No driver is automatically removed when only this option is enabled.
This gives dispatch teams better visibility into driver readiness without automatically changing ride assignments.
For fleets looking to automate more of their dispatch workflow, EverTransit also offers “Enable auto removal of the driver if not confirmed.”
When this option is enabled:
This added automation can help dispatch teams respond to unconfirmed rides faster, reduce manual follow-ups, and keep rides moving.
Every transportation operation works differently, so both features are optional.
Fleet owners can choose the level of automation that works best for their dispatch process. If your existing driver assignment workflow already works for your business, you can simply leave these options turned off.
For fleets that want additional automation, the new confirmation options provide another way to reduce last-minute uncertainty, improve driver accountability, and give dispatch teams greater control over ride coverage.
